Making the bridge between inside and outside smaller. This is the project goal we came up with based on the design challenge of shared spaces. We have been designing for human and nonhuman agents that are part of the shared home in 2035. Here, we envision that consumers are becoming producers of food themselves. To achieve our goal, we designed Cobi, an organic waste bin which makes composting accessible for the everyday user. Users become more engaged in the process of producing food and multiple stakeholders are considered, including the garden. The video showcasing the product can be seen here.
